JSM Hobby Titanium Alloy Battery Connectors - 4mm or 5mm connectors available
Titanium alloy is an alloy based on titanium and composed of other elements. Its low density, high strength, strong corrosion resistance, known as "modern industrial steel". Compared with other materials, titanium alloys have the following advantages:
1. High strength: The strength of titanium alloy is more than twice higher than that of ordinary steel, and it is also higher than that of aluminum alloy and magnesium alloy.
2. Strong corrosion resistance: Titanium alloy has good corrosion resistance and is not easy to be eroded by acids, alkalis and other chemicals.
3, low density: titanium alloy density is only half of iron, lighter than aluminum alloy, very suitable for the manufacture of aircraft and other lightweight equipment.
4. Good high temperature resistance: the melting point of titanium alloy is as high as 1668℃, which has good high temperature resistance and is very suitable for manufacturing high temperature equipment. The density of titanium alloy is generally about 4.51g/ cubic centimeter, only 60% of steel, the density of pure titanium is close to the density of ordinary steel, and some high-strength titanium alloys exceed the strength of many alloy structural steel. Therefore, the specific strength (strength/density) of titanium alloy is much higher than that of other metal structural materials, and components with high unit strength, good rigidity and light weight can be produced. Aircraft engine components, skeleton, skin, fasteners and landing gear are all used in titanium alloys.
